The South & East

The South & East of Ireland is more restrained. Countless bays, lakes and estuaries make these areas ideal for a relaxed surf trip. There even seem to be more pubs around here than anywhere else. No doubt this is where the “craic” – spontaneous banter over a few pints of Guinness – was invented. Besides kite and windsurf kit, a set of golf clubs wouldn’t go amiss. Some of Ireland’s best golf courses are situated here, including three Pro Tour venues. With a thriving network of connections to the UK, the tourist industry is well set up for overseas visitors.
